Connecting the digital meat thermometer using Bluetooth is a straightforward process. Open the Govee Home App, press "+" in the upper right-hand corner, and select "H5182" from the device list. Turn on your smartphone's Bluetooth and place it near the thermometer. Press the thermometer's power button for 3 seconds, and then press the thermometer's name in the app to complete the pairing.

The Govee Home App provides temperature recommendations for 5 doneness levels of beef and lamb: Rare, Medium Rare, Medium, Medium Well, and Well Done. It's recommended to connect and use the device within the 230ft Bluetooth range of your smartphone, with no obstructions in between. Android users need to keep the App online or running in the background with activity permissions.

It's important to rinse or wipe the probe after use and not soak it in water, as the curved area on top of the probe is not waterproof, and soaking the probe could cause malfunctions. Additionally, the probes contain a sharp point, so they should be kept out of reach of children to prevent injury.
