The Etekcity Lasergrip 1080 is one of the most classic designs in our series of infrared thermometers. Featuring a non-contact and laser pointer design, you can measure hot or cold items at a suitable distance, including pizza ovens, air conditioning units, car engines, swimming pools, bath water, and wine coolers. Additionally, the easy-to-use design provides more convenient pet care, helping to maintain a comfortable temperature environment for reptiles and hairless cats. However, it is not intended for use on humans.

The Lasergrip 1080 has an upgraded temperature range of -58°F to 1130°F (-50°C to 610°C) and can provide results in just 500 ms. The display will also show the maximum temperature of the surface being measured. This makes it a perfect heat gun for professional use.

The Lasergrip 1080 Infrared Thermometer has an emissivity range of 0.1 to 1.0, allowing for precise readings across different surfaces and conditions. You can adjust the emissivity by pressing and holding the up and down buttons on the heat gun.

With a 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio, the Lasergrip can accurately measure targets from a distance, making it safer to use on dangerous objects. For best accuracy, the distance between the thermometer and the object should be approximately 14.17 inches.

The Lasergrip offers additional features, including a backlit LCD screen with a unit conversion function (°F/°C), an auto-off feature to extend battery life, and a low battery indicator to prevent unexpected power loss.

The infrared technology of the Lasergrip allows you to measure the surface temperatures of various objects, including those above the boiling point and below the freezing point.
